March 2025: Her-story

We’re all about celebrating women, but during Women’s History Month, we want to send a special shout-out to all the strong, courageous, and gifted women who knew they were made for more. 

Women have been pushing boundaries for centuries. Susan B. Anthony dreamed of a country where women could vote, Clara Barton imagined a world where people cared for others in times of war, and Harriet Tubman dreamt of freedom for enslaved people. They, too, were looking for more and achieved things that were once thought impossible.

One of my fearless leaders is Jen Hatmaker, best-selling author, speaker, #forthelove Podcast host, and mom of 5. Since reading her 2012 book, 7, now revised as Simple & Free, where she examined seven areas of excess and made decisions to live a more simple and meaningful life, I've been a huge fan. Like many women throughout history, Jen shows up authentically, without shame, and oftentimes against the odds.  I love her strong sense of self, the way she leads and stays true to what she believes to be good, true, and right.  I find her storytelling highly relatable and downright funny. I have followed her for over 10 years, and I have literally thought, like I often ask my dearest friends, “Can you just come over?”  You want to be in her company. She is just that good.   

In our weekly F + F meetings, we ask ourselves, “What do we want to start doing?” but equally important, “What do we want to stop doing?” Where do you feel called to rise, elevate, or take it to the next level? Ladies, we are your biggest cheerleaders! Cheering you on to do the next best thing. Chase the dream, live intentionally, and manifest that desire that burns in your soul. We believe your organized home can help make room for that to happen. We want to help clear away anything that could possibly stand in the way of you getting after it. Like the women who paved the way before us, your journey is unique and incredibly valuable. We want you to look back and say, “Holy $%!@, I mean, cow! Look at me go!”  

You get one shot at this life. So, whether it’s earning that degree, getting that dream job, raising those babies, writing that book, or having a love life better than any rom-com…If you can dream it, we are here for it! You deserve it; your daughters, mothers, sisters, and girlfriends deserve it...We all do!  When we make space for the extraordinary and do the things that fill our buckets, we show up better for ourselves, our people, and our world.
