November 2025: Gratitude, Giving, and a Beautifully Organized Home for the Holidays

November is a special time at Form + Function Elevated Organizing. This month reminds us to slow down, give thanks, and make space (both physically and mentally) for what truly matters.

I love being outdoors, soaking in long days and sunshine. When the days grow shorter and colder, it naturally means fewer opportunities to be outside — something I’ve always struggled with. So, I’ve challenged myself to find beauty in the changing of the seasons. I’ve started taking photos of even the smallest, most ordinary things that catch my eye — usually on walks with my dog, Oliver.

These little moments of beauty remind me that gratitude can be found anywhere, if we just slow down long enough to see it.

Giving Back: One Warm Coat Donation Drive + Senior Stocking Project 🧥

This season, we’re proud to continue our tradition of giving by donating all gently used coats from client projects to One Warm Coat, an incredible organization that helps provide warmth to individuals and families across the country.

In addition, we’re spreading extra holiday cheer by supporting the Senior Stocking Project. A project that has been near and dear to Lisa for nearly a decade. All donations go toward creating festive Christmas stockings filled with thoughtful gifts — for local seniors in need. Every contribution helps brighten someone’s season and reminds them they’re loved and remembered.

If we’re working with you this month on a home organizing or pre-move prep project here in the Boulder area or at your mountain home, rest assured that your unwanted coats, holiday cards, costume jewelry, ornaments, and more go directly toward helping others in need. It’s a simple but powerful act of kindness — clearing space while spreading cheer.
