June 2025: Reclaim the Rest of Your Year—Starting at Home

Somehow, we’re already halfway through the year—six months down, six to go. It’s a natural place to pause, reflect, and a great time to check in not just with goals or calendars, but with your space.
What’s working well in your home right now? What’s not? Are there areas that feel off, cluttered, or just not serving you the way they used to? Want to host more backyard barbecues but embarrassed about the state of your home?
Take a look at the spaces where your days begin and end—your closet, bathroom, kitchen, or even your nightstand. Are they helping you feel calm and in control? Or a little chaotic and overwhelmed?
The kitchen is a great example. Is your pantry still working for your family’s eating habits and meal plans? Or has it turned into a jumbled collection of snacks, expired cans, and forgotten ingredients, making an impromptu backyard barbecue feel impossible?
When spaces stop supporting the way we intend to live, it’s usually a sign they need a little attention, not always full overhaul, just a thoughtful reset. And hey—if things feel messier than you'd like, you're completely normal. Even the most beautifully organized systems need maintenance.
We know, because it happens to us too.
One of us (not naming names 😉) recently opened a drawer in the bathroom and found about three tubes of toothpaste, all half-used, and several face creams spilling out of their original space into other areas. Somehow, over the last few months, the system we originally had in place just wasn’t being followed. We’d been busy, traveling, running from one thing to the next. Toiletries got tossed in instead of put away properly, and boom—now the drawer was a mini pharmacy. Even as professional organizers, we’re not immune to the rhythms of real life.
Why? Because we're human. Life shifts, kids grow, seasons change, and hobbies come and go. And through it all, stuff accumulates. We're busy. We're tired. And things don’t always land where they’re supposed to. Before long, that “quick pile” turns into a whole corner... and suddenly you're avoiding a closet altogether.
There’s no shame in that. It happens to everyone.
Many clients jokingly said at the end of a project, "This is so awesome! Can you come back next month and help keep us organized?" That’s actually why we created our Form + Function Friends Membership—a low-key way to support the clients we’ve already worked with. Since we already know your space and how you like to live, we can come back in, reset the systems, and make sure things feel smooth and manageable again. Quick, efficient, and totally personalized.
If your home's been feeling a bit "off" lately or there's a space that could use some sprucing up, here's a friendly nudge: mid-year is perfect for a refresh. We're here for that. Let us work our magic so you can confidently send out that group text and invite your friends over for an easy, memorable summer night get-together.
